well my husband received a letter from Islamabad on the 6th of July 2010 and they asked for a proof contact so we sent it on the 15th of July 2010 ... i went to visit my husband in nov 2010 came back from pk in march 2011 sent them Pakistani doc's notes along with the Canadian doc's notes confirming am 5 month pregnant also sent them pictures of me n hubby and my baby boy's ultrasound pictures and my boarding passes am due on the 2nd of sep 2011 so i e-mailed them and mentioned everything and asked for an update got a reply yesterday saying background checks are over file is in queue for initial review dey didnt say anything about gettin da medical done again since it expired in April 2011 ..... hope am not confusing u

They will never mention in an email that they will be asking for meds. You can only find this out from caips if they even put it in there. Otherwise you just have to wait and see. But first they will review your file and make sure relationship is genuine, and as long as he passed background checks then next step would be to get him to do new medical.

I am assuming that he received his AOR in July 2010. Right now they are working on June/July AOR's so hang in there. They might speed up your process if you sent them pregnancy proof InshAllah ... Remedical doesn't take too much time and sometimes they send the PPR right after the Remedical. So InshAllah your hubby will be with you before your due date, just keep praying

Mayena please don't worry. they didn't lose your passport. It just means that they have not got it from the mail room yet. In my caips I saw that when I sent them documents most of the time they only received them about 3 weeks after i sent it so it can take time to get the mail stay positive.

I agree - as long as your online tracking for TCS shows it was Delivered and Signed by someone there it means it's just sitting in dark room like everything else

what i do now,i sent emails 2 time i got responce file in que to review,sooo now what can i do........just waite and duwah thats it i think u have some thing then share me

Have you done medical and PCC, if yes then tell your spouse to contact PM.

again keep emailing them and ask them to send you the copy of the letter by email since you didnt receive the mail so better to do this way

Hi,

This was a hint for you in the email. they told you that it was medical, so go and do your medical taking appointment from the doc which is mentioned in cic. then tell doc that this is the file number, and he will attach and send things.
