Yes this is what was worrying me too...the rukhsati is done without it being a formal celebration lol...anyway Allah sab k liye ehsan karay and inshAllah everyone starts getting good news so we can change the atmosphere on the forum around...as long as they have some of your pics from then I think it will be sufficient inshAllah

The CHC would just have to understand that ruksati is not part of our faith, its cultural, so its not a must. Nikkah IS everything and should be treated as such. We are married and that's that. To provide proof that the relationship that it isn't fraud then yes do spend time with your spouse if you can, or at least stay in good contact with them after in order to build your own relationship with them. Skype, call logs, gifts, cards etc...

On a side note, whether we consummate the marriage is also up to us, because its our lives. Why do these silly people need to know every little detail of our personal lives. Such perverts they are.

Pagal hain ye loog and i guess in k mood per depend kerta hai sab kuch .. mera hi case dekh lein lol .. becus pcc was not provided we are refusing lol .. arey kuch or baat hoti to samaj aati but ye to mazaak huwa hai hasi arahi hai mujhe ye letter perh k

There were TWO brother Whd_Mukhtar and JKSHOPISB same timeline as mine and 3 of us had the Nikkah only cases. 3 of us received the objections letter in Oct 2010 and as you know both brother got their VISA's last month with Nikah only.

I think it depend on your luck and immigration officer and yes ofcourse local potni ka admin staff what comments and thoughts he provide to officer.

I am soo scared now they recently demanded IMM 5490 Forms me in which i had to write a present address of my wife. She was in Pakistan from December so i wrote the Pakistani address and attached her ticket that she is going to Canada on 3rd April.
Pata nahe mera visa na reject ker dein is baat per :S

LOL you are right they want every detail and I can understand that if someone has not provided enough proof but I sent them recently my phone bill for the whole of 2010 all together and our skype history showing pictures of us talking and the history...they have pics of us together and emails so what more can they want? lol perverts they are...i think they must have some huge wedding album in the embassy...my husband said to me that if he goes there he is sure they will have different wedding pics plastered all over their walls ;D ;D

you are right it does come down to who is doing the case...my cousins she had nikkah only as well and her husband got PPR she is from Dec 2009 and they didn't even send her an objection letter only a letter of plan for rukhasti...and i didn't get an objection but they put us in interview queue...Allah hi hain k un ko kuch samaj a jaye that all we want is to be with our loved ones

I concur with Sameer 100%, the reason they are mad about rukhsati is that they have been educated by your loving Pakistani Local staff at embassy that in Pakistan if a woman and a man have had intimate relationship, it goes to the point of no return, its no where in the marriage act nor in any islamic law that marriage is not consummated without it but they exercise the privilege of rejecting the applications under the clause of immigration act which states that "Marriage must be conducted in accordance with the rituals and culture of the country where marriage is conducted". By all means everyone who has not had rukhsati must rush and get the rukhsati done, have a proper photo session and other useless bloody rituals to waste time and money, they wont accept anything less than that function.
