You are right. It is the same PKSTN since day one I dont see any difference in between now and 10yrs back PK. Honestly speaking ask any one who applied before 2007 cases were completed with in 3-4 months atleast for my friends or peoples I know. In 2006 Harper Govt came ine and in 2008 since Jason Kenney become the immigration minister things got worsed and timeline increased for us and keep getting worse every 6 months with no hope under him that things will come easy for us.

Vote anybody else, but not him. My & your time is already waisted by him but think about your sibling brothers/sisters atleast they will not suffer from the pain we suffered.

All those emails to your local MPs, immigration minister, CHC-I, writing to media, etc etc. were useless and waste of time.

Now is the time to raise your concerns. Now is the chance to change the government. Any one come to knock your door for vote before saying anything express your feeling & story.

Description

Citizenship and Immigration Canada proposes to introduce amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations specifying that, under the family class or the spouse and common-law in Canada class, a spouse or a common-law or conjugal partner who is in a relationship of two years or less with their sponsor at the time of sponsorship application would be subject to a period of conditional permanent residence. The condition would require that the sponsored spouse or partner remain in a bona fide relationship with their sponsor for a period of two years or more following receipt of their permanent residence status in Canada. Only cases targeted for fraud would be reviewed during the conditional period. Permanent residence could be revoked (leading to initiation of removal) if the condition of remaining in a bona fide relationship was not met. For all other cases, the condition would be automatically lifted after the specified conditional period had elapsed. Beyond the requirement to satisfy the condition, the conditional permanent residence would not differ from permanent residence.

Given concerns about the vulnerability of spouses and partners in abusive relationships, a process for allowing bona fide spouses and partners in such situations to come forward without facing enforcement action would be developed if a conditional permanent residence period were introduced.

Allhumdulillah maybe this is Allah (swt) giving us the opportunity to make some positive change by getting the conservatives out of government, we should be voting all of us for the betterment of immigration INSHALLAH. Allah janay kia karay gay when they come to power but previously liberals were better than what we have going on now...it is ridiculous right now we are spending our second anniversaries alone :-\

salam to all, Alhumdulila i got my passport back with visa yesterday Allah ka shuker hei and knaeem bhai Inshallah u will b gettin urs today and every1 who's waiting for their passports Inshallah soon every1 wil have their passports back wid visa soon Inshallah and btw i send my passport on 2nd March.

Hello Every body,

I am new in this forume, I need advice and idea and please share ur story if same as my topic.
I am a protected refugee in Canada.
10 Oct 09--Refugee claim
20 June 10---Claim accepted
01-Aug 10--applied for PR
20 Mar 11--AIP and DM

I received a letter from CIC asking my passport and also they said a copy of my file was sent to Pakistan so that they contact my spause, she is included in my application.

I called CIC call center asking them, 1-how long more will it take? 2-what will happen next? 3- are they going to give my landing and PR card first and then to my spuase? every time I heard new answeers.

does any body had the same experience, please share it will be give some ideas. do you know answeer for the above Questions?

Dont worry about peoples that is why when my Jatti told me about peoples at beging I told her tu fikr na kr sohniye loogon ki baaton ka tell them talk to my husband, mein pocket mey rakhta ho Rewalver full jo kre ga jatti ko koi baat saath he mein kr do ga aar paar.
