2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

My husband case was not in que for interview because it was security interview I think that does not need que they just call you for it....My husband said it was the most hardest interview ever...He was asked many many political questions, views on war questions, case specific questions, marriage related questions, mostly security related though....They watch every single answer you give, your reaction, your response, your facial expressions, your answers and they write every single thing you answer. The key is to be confident, aware of questions and aware of your answers, keep good eye contact that is all and lots of lots of duas off course.

Sorry for posting this here also, but it seem to be an older post with experienced people so I am re posting in this thread too, to have maximum of help

As I am going to launch the immigration process for my wife an daughter this month, I am posting here to have your advises and tips on what to do to accelerate the process and not waste time.

Here is my situation :

I live in Montreal (Quebec), I have a PR card since 3 years, but I starting living here only since 6 months ago now. I got married in September 2009 and since then I was living with my wife in Pakistan (Islamabad), in 2010 I was blessed with a daughter. I moved to Canada 6 months ago and now that I have found a Job I want to bring my wife and daughter here.

So as you guys are experience and already been through this process, what are the things to avoid and what are the tips to accelerate the procedure ? is being in Quebec add more time as I probably will need to get selection certificate ?

Also do you guys have any idea in my situation how much time it can take ? as I don't think immigration officer can have any doubt on my wedding been genuine as I have been living with her all the time and have a daughter.

Salaam alaikum. My husband also went through this process in the last couple of weeks. We also didn't know anyone in Pakistan so he went to Pakistan by himself to the embassy. When he went there he explained to the receptionist outside that he doesn't know anyone in Pakistan and therefore he could not provide pakistan address and has come to Pakistan now and is staying in hotel until he gets visa. The receptionist called someone from inside the embassy and my husband spoke to him. He was then instructed to write down all the reasons why he needed his passport back ASAP. When you will get visa for Pakistan in order to enter Pakistan you will have to clear your name in police department so that when you go bak to afghanistan you will not have any trouble in the airport. You have to do this process within 7 days with your passport when you get to Islamabad. Anyway my husband wrote down all these things and they gave him passport stamped with visa after 3 business days. He gave on Friday and received it back on Wednesday. I would suggest you go to embassy. If you want any direction from my husband please private message me and I will give you his contact.

Hi Jaania,

No update since receiving caips report a few weeks ago. Worst case is that my wife is still in an interview queue with no date set yet.
Hopeful though the interview has been canceled as caips stated remedical to be completed and file to be forwarded to WVR for officier review. Time will tell as the last update to caips was in the first week of August. Hopefully we hear something soon as it has been 2 months since update and one and a half since medical was done.

They have skipped april,May, aug,and oct cases bro ..they just jumbed from june to Nov?isn't that mean it depends on case or u are from same family ..just a guess .. interview mn kia hua zaror share keagay ga .. ap ke interview ki kia reason hy?Allah kry sab ke aa jain letter Ameennnnnnnnnn
