Blue Angel (CONGRATS BTW ) is May Re-medical (when exactly?) and is getting PPR in Sept. So ... there is a chance my wife MIGHT get PPR in October?? I am really getting tired of this guessing game! :-\

Thanks. medical was done in the end of May in Karachi .. but My husband's PPR stated his Medical expiry is June 07, 2013; which means they received the medical sumwhere in June around that date. PPR was received on September 14th.. and Status changed on September 28th.

As for your wife.. One thing i have noticed is any paper {coming back from immigration} takes about 3 months. If you are lucky within.. if not.. 3 months is their time for sure. So hopefully you can expect something in October. Good LUck.!

We had an exactly same case as yours. Now I'll list all the steps, read it carefully and it will help you.

1. Contact Genetrack laboratory as it as accredited with the embassy. Plus they responds very quickly. (Google it as I am not supposed to post the link over here, just write Genetrack lab on google and link will appear)
2. Call them and book an appointment.
3. As soon an appointment has been taken, they'll call up your wife for DNA test in Canada, they have the laboratory there.
4. When she'll give her saliva test then the laboratory will send the DNA kit to Canadian embassy in Islamabad and then Embassy will call you and will ask you to come an give your saliva test in the embassy in Islamabad.
5. Once this process is over. Embassy will send it to the laboratory in Canada for test and matching it with your wife.
6. Laboratory will then send the report to Embassy and one copy of that report will be sent to your wife as well in Canada.
7. Once everything is done, embassy will proceed in your case.
8. NOTE : DNA will be conducted for all family members. You, your wife and your two children. So when taking an appointment do tell the laboratory about it and also email them letter which you people got from embassy. Laboratory will then guide you each and every step.

1. Send a fax to CHC to launch an inquiry and/or update
2. Order your file/case notes under Access to Information. The sponsor can submit it and obtain notes on your behalf by being your representative, etc. If there is a problem with the case, the notes can highlight the issue to be rectified.

It sounds like your in interview queue...when did you apply and have you had anything from them or sent them anything after initial application? Basically their not satisfied that your relationship is genuine based on what you submitted, once in interview queue it's not all bad, you can still save yourself, I would urgently order GCMS notes so you see what their thinking and put together an update package to show them your marriage is real...photos, chat logs, phone bills, gift receipts, if you visited your spouse send copies of tickets etc.

May Allah grant us all our lovely spouses and the ability for the decision makers to see the truth-ameen.

My AOR is NOV 2010. how they are not satisfied with this marriage i am in my late 30s . This is my 1st marriage no children or no wife. and I dont have any proofs as this is love marriage not many pictures. My wife age is also the same as mine.

By your response do you mean it's semi hidden or without family involvement? You need to show the connection and your family and friends knowing about relationship is helpful. More than that also show your history together, where it started and where your at. Your age and hers as well as no children might be a negative not a positive so might need to work harder. Remember the reason your application is in Islamabad is that immigration considers everything within cultural context, the average Pakistani marriage is arranged and between people in their twenties and we know our spouses for 1-2 years. They might need to know why your relationship took so long to reach marriage and sponsorship.

I know it's tough to imagine when your in love that anyone might think your fake but step out of it for one minute and think from a visa officers angle...he sees only papers, only what you submit, fraud and has an inclination to disbelieve (I work in a similar field)...I don't know enough about your personal situation for more than I already recommended but consider how to prove your love to the biggest skeptic.

Thank you! Alhamdulillah the original request was sent on September 6,2012 a week after Ecas changed to in process. However since my husband lives in Afghanistan the mail system is horrible there. Te embassy actually called him last week and asked him why he had not responded to the request. My husband said he hasn't received anything so the person sent him an email request the next day. So I think all this happened around sept 15ish. My husband is in Pakistan now. He went to the embassy since we don't know anyone in Pakistan that we can give their address so that the passport can be sent back so he's in a hotel right now and the immigration officer told him that the passport with visa will be sent back before Friday. Inshaallah
We also had to provide flight itinery and the ppr request rated its urgent since his medical is expiring in 6 weeks

2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

My husband case was not in que for interview because it was security interview I think that does not need que they just call you for it....My husband said it was the most hardest interview ever...He was asked many many political questions, views on war questions, case specific questions, marriage related questions, mostly security related though....They watch every single answer you give, your reaction, your response, your facial expressions, your answers and they write every single thing you answer. The key is to be confident, aware of questions and aware of your answers, keep good eye contact that is all and lots of lots of duas off course.
