Well i am very old member, may be few of you know me anyways want to update you guys, my brother got the visa, he was 2010 case, below is the timeline;

16 Dec 2010 - file recieved by CHC-ISB
21 Feb 2012 - medical request
03 Mar 2012 - medical done
02 Sep 2012 - passport request
03 Sep 2012 - passport sent
13 Sep 2012 - passport recieved with visa stamped

From what I remember, last year the interviews took place between November 2011 and March 2012. I would guess that they will do the interviews around the same time this year. May Allah make it easy for all those waiting for an interview.

NO, you can't send your passport before your Re-medical. You will need your passport in order to do your Re-medical. Wait till you are done with your Re-medical and then send your Medical payment Receipt and passport together to CHC-Islamabad.

Alhamdullilah.. ma husband recieved his PPR on September 14th and sent Passport on September 15th, 2012.

My timeline is as follows:

File in CHC-ISB -- March 2011
Paperwork + PCC -- March 2012
Re-medical -- May 2012
PPR --- September 2012


E-case status shows:


We started processing your file on Feb 2012.

Medical results have been received.

i was received my 2nd medical forms from islammbad embassy. when i did medical form DMPS in pakistan they keep my forms and issue me the payment slip and told me that you don't do any thing we will send your medical result to the embassy.

kindly advise is it necessary to send payment slip to the embassy???

No its not necessary I didnt send n after some time they update my status that med results have rcvd.

For all those who have recently applied or will apply soon, make sure you send enough proof of relationship and wedding that they don't have any questions or concerns left, so they don't put you in the interview queue. Sometimes mistakes in forms, previous settlements in other countries, 2nd marriages etc etc causes you to be in the interview list. So provide as much details in the forms as you can along with as much proof possible.

A few days ago I had posted from CIC manual an email address where they said send email if visa office doesn't respond within 30 days - case-review-im-enquiry@cic.gc.ca. Use at your discretion as I don't know if will have any slow down or negative consequence on your case.

Many thanks for the reply,but i would prefer not 2 do any such mail which consequence isn't measured off.Though

will wait till monday & will do case specific inquiry if didn't get the auto reply from chc-isb.
