i heard that CHC ISB doesnt open the mail until 3-4 weeks of receiving as it takes time for them to sort and open the mails.

Would they know if there was a passport in the mail or just documents? Sometimes after PPR some poeple get their Passport back after only 15 days. Does the CHC know which package include Passport and which doesnt? Do they sort and open the mails with passports immediately after receiving?

Passport is sent in a different type of package by TCS so as soon as they get it they know the package
contains PP and it gets forwarded to the right department.

I am not sure what the package looks like but first the PP goes in a regular tcs envelope then the whole package goes in a special Passport envelope.

I sent it in a special greyish silver envelope (I think it is used for special mails which include Passports) which is sealed tight. That envelope indicates that there is a passport inside.
