Guys this just in from the MP himself. CHC-Islamabad doesn't issue any PPR after NOV 15th till Jan 1st due to Christmas and holiday season. In my opinion he is BS'ing since I know someone who got PPR on NOv 23rd last year. Although If its true then hopefully all those who are done their Re-medical and waiting for PPR get it soon InshaAllah

I checked our db of pprs dates and found that last year after Nov 15 there was only one PPR which was for Baseera's husbad on the 18-Dec-2010 but then he had been waiting for 30 months.

If they dont work around that time then how come they issued the PPR for Dec's month?

But it could be that this case was an exception since there is only one PPR after Nov 15 2010 and before January?

Not sure but it seems like they do issue PPR after Nov 15 for sure.

Thats the only number unfortunately and due to high volume of calls they only accept voice mails. Try emailing them and see if they reply.

I need to check the history in couple days but they said Its effective from Mon, Oct 31.

I didn't need a hammer to convince them.............just told them the website: ring123pinless............then the rep had to confirm from her manager......nd he approved it to b 1.8 c/min..........but they still charged me 26 c/min for Saudi arabia moblile call........I will need to talk to them abt this............or ring123 is charging 11 c/min...........

Highly doubt that- even they have to report at the end of every month/ year for the quota that was assigned to them. So yeah, a one week christmas holiday seems more like it...Also, I think all the re-med cases would be done soon if they intend implementing the new policy soon- cases at re-pcc or re-med stage won't fall under the new policy category. And if they do implement the new policy then the new applicants have it easy and inshAllah they'll be uniting with their husbands in 3-4 months after marriage
