Hi Saroo,saroo said:Hi Godisgreat,
Your timeline is just about the same as mine, i think i mentioned a couple of days ago that my file in the Queue to be waiting for the decision to be made. My husband's remedical is done long ago like in sept 2010 and he also send them the PCC as well as a matter of fact he had to get three PCC's from three different countries and thank God that is all done so now we are just waiting for the decision to be made. Insha allah you should be hearing something very soon. I heard they are trying to clear all the 2009 cases and will be starting on the 2010 cases. We can all pray and ask from Allah and i am sure everything will go just fine.
you know the MP I have contacted is not that good. I wanted to switch but she already sent Islamabad an e-mail on my behalf. I asked her how much time it may take in the last decision making stage and she has not replied. If your MP gave any information on the remaining time in teh decision making stage, please kindly share. Also, with me, the 16th moth is well underway.saroo said:well it's going to be 15 months on feb the 14th for my husband so i am just assuming may be another two months or so. Are you from toronto or mississauga. I don't know which area you are from and also how can you switch the MP because you always have an MP specificialy for that area and i don't think you can do that. Well i am in Mississauga, Ont and my MP is from the Liberal party. I haven't spoken to the MP directly as yet but if i have to i will do that but his assistance who is working on my case, she told me to just wait for another month because it would be 16 months and see what the embassy do, otherwise she will contact them again.Safum said:you know the MP I have contacted is not that good. oh what i meant by that is, it doesnt have to be the MP from the riding you are living in, that has to look at your case. You can ask any MP i think, but ofcourse it makes sense to ask the one in your riding. I went to this MP's office becuase I was told that she would be helpful. Granted, my wording was a little confusing so I apologize. And ofcourse its not the MP, its the assistant. Perhaps thier office is too busy. I'll keep trying. Thanks for the info and sorry again for the confusion.saroo said:Are you from toronto or mississauga.
