I could only let you know what our prophet said according to book of sahee al bukhari but we can sure pray for muslim or non muslim (everyone) who are living that may Allah (God) guide them to the right path and may Allah guide us to the right path all the way through.
But we watch all those things on t.v about rest in piece. This is not what islam says but we say for muslim or non muslim Inna lillahe wa inna alaihe raajioon (meaning that came from God and goes back to him). I hope I have not offended anyone.

Thanks for the expanding on your post brother and translating the meaning of "Inna lillahe wa inna alaihe raajioon" for those who don't know the meaning. Your first post wasn't too clear and could have offended non-muslims.

Wow congratzzz .... 23 months u r brave oufff hope in mu husband case i wont need to wait for 23 months :S

I have a Great News to share with you guys. By Grace of Allah my husband got his PPR today. Alhamdulillah, the wait is finally over! I know it is a really tough and frustrating time to go through but patience and prayers really do pay off in the end. I sincerely hope and pray that all of you are reunited with your spouses soon!

The entire process took 23 months.
