Well it takes a little more time for hubbyz as I told earlier that CHC is jealous of handsome hubbyz getting away with their Canadian ladies
Jokes apart mine is also Hubby case, Mar 2010 AOR & my medical expired back in Jan 2011 and since then I have reminded them several 1000 times but still Have NOT got my reMedical request yet.
So you got do a little maths for yourself and have little patience. Normally CHC starts with verification of sponsors's & sponsored's eligibility, their relationship & marriage genuineness in Initial Review then comes to reMed & Background check afterwards

my husband also sent them emails and we also got same reply that ur file is in queue for initial review.. lets hope for the best.. thanks for the reply.

Telling you the truth i really dont know ..... my husband medical exp in may 2011 and we both have sent them couples of email but always same repply

Question: Does the Ottawa office require 30 days to communicate with CHC to get CAIP from them OR do they have immediate access to the system but as per policy they just release it after 30 days.

I order mine on Aug 20 but the material I sent they open and placed on file on Aug 17 & 22nd and ofcourse review is not done yet on the material so no notes to update. On Sep 20 when I will receive my CAIPS will it have up-to-date notes by that time? OR will they release the notes as of Aug 20.

It's just their policy to release it after 30 days, if they want they can access it right away. My CAIPS were always 2 months behind. It had what I basically knew already!
