Don't worry they took 11 months to open my wife simple case and her process is in 18th month and still no VISA. You will hear something in July, your file will open for initial review soon here...

It seems like they got friday off for Canada day, so i guess there were no letters/PPR etc sent out on friday. Lets hope they sent it out on monday and not wait till the coming friday.

For the first time in my 2 yr wait with this stupid embassy I cried today out of confusion and frustration. I also emailed the stupid embassy again to see if they can atleast give us an update since I'm now in my 18th month. It would be 21 months since we filed with Mississauga but I think i need to count from when Islamabad started processing - so 18 months it is...how much more...
