I applied my family sponsorship case in April 2010 and my wife got letter 4m CHC ISB in May 2010. It was mentioned in letter that processing time is 9 months. It's now 13 month is about to end. Don't know how much time will they take more. And on the cic.gc.ca processing time for CHC ISB has been updated to 21 months. So where my file stands... in 21 months category? Any information?

u shld mail cic islamabad n ask abt ur file status ...... thy are actually workin on april files ................ min time to get visa is 12 , n there is no limit to max time it will take ....

Yep everyone who applied late 2009-early2010 are still waiting and processing time is anywhere between 12 to 21+ months. That "9 months" on AOR was from 2008 - mid 2009 timeline but that has changed now...

Wa alaykum salam (I am a sister though so not a brother )

Unfortunately the timeline increase effects everyone whose application is currently in Islamabad. I don't know why they even were sending out AOR's with 9 months in 2010 because the timeline had already increased at that time. Anyway now mostly people are waiting between 14-21 months with most applications being finalized around the 16 month mark (from what we have seen on this forum). InshAllah you might hear from them soon, probably by the end of the summer they may have asked for something from you.

And they doze off once they receive your passport... its been 41 days since i have sent the passport and still the bloody E-Cas shows In Processs.

Yes that too. Of course they had to increase the torture as much as possible. I see you did re-med at the same time, so usually that takes a little longer than just getting PPR but inshAllah you are almost there. I pray you get your PP back very soon AMEEN. ;D

sure i can share my experience,,,
c we were issued re pcc in april 2010 and in feb 2011 v were sent imm forms which we never recieved ,3 weeks later mp gave us tht letter thru email, v sent them baq in march.....after 2 weeks of sending those letters ,they were attached on our file....
in the 2nd week of april i got to know thru jason keeneys email tht they issued re med which again v neever got, again in the first week of may they issued re med +ppr which we recieved....bas yeh hai lambii story...hope it helps
