CHC Islamabad - need help

I have applied for by spouse for sponsorship since 25 july 2011. We received at the end of November an email from CHC Islamabad asking to redo medical, to redo PCC, to file up the background check forms and to provide them the Quebec selection certificate.

Here are my questions,

Is this the last step that they are taking before taking their decision?
How long after receiving those documents they take to make their decision?
Is that means that my husband wont have to pass an interview?

We are now waiting since so long and we would like to know if this waiting time will finish shortly.
Please help us!

Why don't you ask for your file so that you can see what happened until now?

the reason why I don't ask for it is because they do not give us any further information. this is why im asking is anyone have any idea.

Pls join the CHC islamabad 2012-2013 thread.... there is also CHC Islamabad 2011-2012.... u will see many of us on there that are in the same process.... in my case we have also submitted my wife's passport in Nov 2013 but have yet to hear n e thing back....

Rest assured this is the last step.... n all thats left on ur file is for them to send the passport back with visa....

If u come on the CHC threads u will see that CHC is operating completely randomly.... the principle of first come first served is not being followed at all.... it remains a mystery how they're running their affairs.... so nobody knows how long it will take for them to send our passports back.... u'll b happy to hear that there are some ppl from late 2011 that have recently received their passports back with visas in Jan 2014.... so I think ur number will be coming up shortly inshallah....

If ur husband was indeed required to have an interview they would've sent that request before sending u the request to redo the medical.... ur case wouldn't have reached this far if they were going to call ur husband for interview.... so rest assured ur husband will NOT have to go for an interview....

It looks like it won't b much longer till ur husband receives the passport back with visa.... inshallah it should be coming soon!

Keep checking the CHC islamabad threads as ppl update their progress routinely..... All the best!

You could order ur GCMS notes.... i'm not sure how familiar u are but GCMS notes will provide a detailed status of ur file.... it even includes notes from the visa officer assigned to ur file.... if u go on the CHC Islamabad threads u will see how to order them online.... its only $5.... the only thing is it will take upto a month or more to receive it n by that time u may have already received ur passport.... plus since ur at the last stage there won't b n e new updates on it that u don't already know.... so best is to just wait.... there r a number of us in the same boat as u but its only a matter of time before u receive ur passport....inshallah!

However, we still did not received the letter or email asking for the passport. The last email we received was for the medical on the 13th of December and the police certificate on 15th December with the updated for and the request of sending the quebec selection certificate as well because we intend to leave in Quebec.

They have sent us an email in Febuary 2013 saying that they were putting his file into a queue to get a date for an interview but after this we had zero communication from them until in December when they ask for this.

My husband passed did redo his medical on the 30th December 2013 and TCS confirm that the documents were received on the 31st December.

Since then we had no other communication from them.

This is the reason why I don't know if he's still on that queue for the interview or if the next step is that hey will ask for him to send the passport.

When I was asking about requesting the file I was referring to the GCMS notes. Those are the file. Geez.

MP office advised that case was removed from the interview queue and that our relation was accepted as a genuine relation. Also advise that my husband file is now under background check. Islamabad high commission also advised to contact them back if after.

Does anyone have any idea of when we should get an answer????

Please help us up to figure out how much longer we have to wait. Its now over almost 3 years.
