CHC ISB: Submitted passports to CHC ISB..how long to return?

Hello all... anyone knows how long CHC ISB takes to return the passports.We sent it in on the 23 NOV 2012

under the parents category. Its been over a month...Your words would be much appreciated.

I think they might be backlogged a bit currently, some people are reporting it taking a few months from the passport being sent to it being returned.

Meds are expiring on 28 JAN 2013 and they requested the passports on the 20 NOV 2012. we sent in ..they received it on 23 nov 2012. since then nothing...

any suggestions what should we do ?

Finally got the PPs back with FAMILY VISA after 47 days..ONLY 18 days are give to travel..but we are happy to get it ...Thank GOD ...the wait it finally over.

congratulations! the visa are issued and are valid till the expiry of the passport, or the expiry of the medical exams, whichever comes first!

Visas are valid till the exp. of medical...passports were renewed and sent in along with the old ones. I think they have the new memo out regarding the extension of the medical. I think its avail. on CIC website.

I have received "Medical Instruction Sheet and Medical Form" on 2nd Feb'2013 via email.
I am waiting since 2nd Feb'2013 for receiving a original passport. I also called to TCS(visatronix) for collection of passport but they told me that they have not my passport you contact to High Commission of Canada Islamabad, Pakistan. So i emailed to High Commission of Canada Islamabad, Pakistan but till 21st Feb'13 no response from High Commission of Canada Islamabad, Pakistan so I take an appointment from IOM Karachi center date is 25th Feb'13 (09:30am) when I was go to IOM centre Karachi they told me that bring Original passport.
In the Medical Instruction Sheet High Commission of Canada Islamabad, Pakistan they clearly write you can go with "Original passport or Computerized National Identity Card or Driving License" for Medical examination but IOM Karachi rejected this written information completely. On today 25th Feb'13 High Commission of Canada Islamabad, Pakistan has not replied my email. So what I do ??

who has your original passport? why and when was it send to the embassy?

I have another point to worry that my sister submit her passport one week AFTER my passport in the same visa office which is islamabad and she got her passport back with visa after 3 days then what is wrong with mine. She applied under fedrel skilled worker and i under provincial nominee. Plz share your experience

Hi everybody,

My parents-in-law applied for super visa in Feb and my mother-in-law received medical request via email but my father-in-law hasn't received medical request yet. I wanted to ask, do the applicants get medical requests individually at different times even if the application is filed together in one package? Any insight on this would be appreciated. My MIL has already visited once but FIL has applied for Canadian visitor visa for the first time.

My passport got to CHC Islamabad on 13-03-2015 and still waiting. For most of cases in Jan/Feb 2015, passport return time was between 30-40 days. May be their workload has increase as summer is coming. Please update once you receive your passport Thanks.

Its 13-03-2015,thanks for correction,how ever still no response even i did email i think we have to wait & hope for best soon we shall receive back our passport inshaallah
