Hi Guys,

I have been following your posts from about 20 days.I got visa under university category yesterday.Below are the complete details.I am posting this not to boost myself but only to tel u guys my profile and the files i had included so many guys would be getting a clear picture on some docs.

academics
1)10th-90 %
2)12th-85 %
3)B.E-69 % with 1 backlog
2.3 years experience in IBM as software tester.

Acceptance from university of ottawa for m.eng

Documents I submitted with visa forms on 28th nov via vfs bangalore:
1.10th,12th,B.E all marksheet and degree certificate attested(notarized) marksheets.
2.Toefl attested mark sheet 93(r-26,l-20,s-26,w-21) (Ppl tel toefl is not accepted,vn i was not sure untill i applied,so its your choice)
3.Affidavit of sponsorship from parents.
4.9lakhs in savings account 4 months statement of dad (only from past 2 months 9lakhs wer thr,else 1 lakh was maintained) plus bank 1 year passbook xerox.
5.Education loan of 20lakh PRINCIPAL sanction letter as i got the loan approved in just 2 days.(no loan account number) only few terms and conditions along with mine and university details.( another important thing, i had taken loan on a different property,not on my residential house....i saw a post similar to this and was tensed
6.Dads salary statement + banck acoount 1 year pass book + dad's employee letter.
7.Parents Itrv's 2 years.
8.My offer letter+salary statement 3 months+2 year form 16 (as i did not have re leaving letter when i applied for visa)
9.Flight e-ticket (again ppl say this might create a negative impression,but instead of showing VO tht we have funds fr air ticket,i felt better to attach already booked air tickets...this is totally my perception).
10.Chartered engineer property evaluation report + CA evaluation report matching chartered engineer evaluation report.
11.University offer letter.
12.First sem fee challan with university name,my name and amount from bank (I had just initiated the payment but when applying for visa i had not received receipt from university) .
13.E-medical report.

Got the university acceptance on nov 19th.
Applied for visa with all the above documents on 28th nov,file received in delhi cic on 29th nov.
Got a message from vfs on 9th dec telin pp dispatched but no email whatsoever.

Collected the courier at home on dec 10th and visa was stamped

I strongly believe i might have not included all docs necessary,but when we mention total funds available for stay in canada in student form ,we should make sure it matches with the documents we submit.

Any questions regarding my file plz shoot and plz dont take me wrong if i used provocative words like "ppl tel..."; etc etc).Actually when i used to look at posts i used to piss in my pants thinking i have not submitted any doc.I might have got visa by chance also.

Also i forgot to tell i did not attach any SOP.Just went with the checklist plus few additional finance documents.
