Hello.
I have a criminal charge in NZ for causing an accident and injuring third party from 6 years ago. Declared this with Canada when applying for Working Holiday Visa about 5 years ago and also this year when applying for partners visa.
Is this information transferred to a similar file in Canada say with the police. For example if i get pulled over will it show up as a charge from overseas but on file because I'm in Canada now?
Also when applying for work will it show up if they do a background check before employment?
I will bring my own copy from NZ to show them. Does anyone know what the legal requirements are for declaring this stuff with employers etc in Canada?
I understand it shows up when travelling into or out of Canada due to it being declared but only on Passport.
