Hi, is there anyone whose employer changed their mind and cancel (withdraw) the offer of the employment during the process of HCC pilot application?
It's been 3 years since we applied and waited for the process and the original employer's living condition is changed and he no longer requires the HCC support for their children.
In this case, can we find the new employer and submit the new IMM5983 with a new employer and replace with the original one? Much appreciate your advice. thank you!

Hello, yes the right thing to do is look for another employer as soon as possible. Then you send a new offer of employment form via webform and also with an explanation why you had to change employer.

HAPPY CHILD THAT IS GREAT NEWS. PLEASE CAN YOU CLARIFY HOW YOU WERE ABLE TO REACH IRCC? HOW FAST DID THEY RESPOND TO YOU? WHAT EXACT QUESTION DID YOU ASK THEM?
please help me with this, because I waited too long before seeing this help here. The employer seemed like they had not fully made up their mind so it too quite a while before they said a hard NO.
Now I only have 3 days before the deadline I was given. Can you please let me know
What exact Question Did you ask IRCC?
How did you reach them? Phone call Web Form?
How soon did they respond to you?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Hi, IRCC contacted our employer recently to confirm the employment and eventually he replied IRCC to withdrew the employment.
So we lost the offer of employment (the original employer) and it happened a few weeks ago.

Then IRCC contacted us just recently by email with the attached letter saying they received the withdrawal from my original employer and in order for us to continue to process the application, we have to find a new employer and submit the new offer of employment and other required documents, with a new deadline.
So we didn't ask IRCC for anything about the new employer. IRCC just contacted us by email. Hope this information helps.

I dont want to bother you further HappyChild, but I am assuming IRCC had contacted you as the Employee too at some point/recently to supply more info within like a 30 day deadline?

That was my situation for my sister. We had been sent for Medicals and what not. The employer was kind enough to forward us the letter he was sent by IRCC immediately he received it, eventhough he did not want to proceed with it.

IRCC is going to send ADR to your employer, the employer obviously won't respond because they are no longer interested.
So the wise thing to do now is to send a webform with the updated form, then you add an explanation why you are sending a new employment offer form.

This will save you the time you will have to wait when they send employer ADR

Thank you so much Sophia for your help.
First of all, may you explain what ADR means?

Second, this life is full of twists and turns,
The second employer too has backed out. I think they feel the pressure is too much to commit everything needed including financial within a short period of time.
So I am back to the search again for another employer.

The deadline to get back to IRCC is Friday 10th ( in two days).
Do you have an idea how to go about this now that I do not have a Replacemnt offer of Employment?

Is there need to inform them that the original employer backed out? Or do I just leave them to contact the original employer by themselves?
Is it a good idea to request fior extenseion by myself in order to get time to look for a replacement Employer, if so how many days?

HappyChild, KINDLY I have one more question for you, If you dont mind please, can you share the estimate time you were given to search for a new employer?
Was it 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or more? Please can you share the how long the extension is?
I was hoping to get a replacement employer but that too fell through.
I have to get back to IRCC by Friday 10th deadline
I want to request them for time extension in order to find a new employer. How many days should I request?
It would be super helpful to know the length of extension they gave you please
