1). If I get PNP from a province on the basis of full time job offer, what's the basic difference between this job offer and AEO. Does this full time full time job offer need to be verified by HRSDC?

2). If I land in Canada on the basis of PNP, what will be my resident status at that time? If its permanent Residency than what's the difference between PR acquired by FSW and PNP?
1) It depends on the PNP what kind of job offer they require. They may ask for AEO.

2) You will be a PR. The difference between FSW PR and PNP PR is that for FSW, you sign a statement that you intend to settle outside Quebec. Therefore you can not land in Quebec unless you have a transfer ticket taking you out of there again. Immigration would most likely not accept a Quebec address for an FSW applicant.

For PNP, you sign a statement saying that you intend to settle in your PNP province. When you land, you should land in your PNP province or with a transfer ticket taking you there. You should give an address in your PNP province. If you do not intend to settle in your PNP province at the time you land, you would be guilty of misrepresentation. If immigration believes that you do not intend to settle when you land, they can delay your PR and make you go to your local PNP office to clear up your intentions. If the PNP office withdraws their nomination of you, you can lose your PR. Therefore, you should land in your PNP province and stay there for a few months to show your good intentions, even if you later end up going somewhere else.

Hi Leon,

If full time job offer is from saskatchewan, what minimum requirements it must meet to qualify as PNP? And how long it takes to get PR card after landing?

Regards

You can find the SINP website here: http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/sinp If you are still not clear on the requirements after reading through that, you can contact SINP directly.

If I receive PR through PNP and I wish to move to a different province, are just few months sufficient to establish my intention before I make the move or does it take more like a year or two to prove that I REALLY wanted to settle in the province where I got PNP based PR?
I am a full time Masters student in Ontario and would be eligible for Ontario PNP next year in September, but I want to work and settle in Vancouver as it has better climate and also I have couple of friends there already, plus I suppose job opportunities for a business graduate would be practically the same whether I am in Toronto or Vancouver.
Also, does anyone have any clue whether the quota of 1000 applicants/year under Ontario PNP is something to be worried about as it might mean I am waiting months and years before they nominate me as opposed to promised deadline of 90 days for processing?

Hi...
I had a questions here !!

1. I had "applied and got" for PNP from Nova Scotia and had a job offer in Ontario. What if I say to the employer in Ontario that I will join after 1 month and in that 1 month time, I search for jobs in Nova Scotia and didn't join any of them. This 1 month will help me in proving it to Canadian govt. that I tried and eventually join in Ontario solving my purpose both ways.

2. I had applied for PNP from Nova Scotia ( parallel to this I have searched Job related to my profile from all major job portals and got to know they are v v less in Nova Scotia ).
In this case, If I get acceptance from Nova Scotia, Is this job search won't be enough to prove as an artifact that I have searched already and got no major result.
Now Question is :- Is it a mandate to stay for a particular amount of time in Nova Scotia despite knowing the fact that I have v v less opportunities ( much in advance ) and move after port of entry ( in Nova Scotia ) to Ontario in a weeks time as I am not interested in doing business to make it a much feasible mandate for me to settle in Nova Scotia only.

Hi. What you are planning is called misrepresentation and if immigration ever finds out about it, they will revoke your PR. As a PNP applicant. Your intention should be to settle in Nova Scotia and you probably signed a document stating this somewhere in small print. If this is true when you apply and when you land, you have fulfilled your promise of intent. However, if you move away in a weeks time, everybody will see that you actually did not have intent because a week is simply too short of a time to have made the decision that you can't make it in Nova Scotia, give up and go somewhere else. IMO a month is a bit short too. I would advise 3-6 months.

However, as far as I know, nobody lost their PR because they left, even after a day. Doesn't mean though that it didn't happen just because I haven't heard about it and doesn't mean that immigration wont start going after these people tomorrow or in a month or whenever and then you do not want to be the guy who left very soon after landing.
