Hi there, I have so much question in mind that i cannot answer. First, I am a Head Supervisor in a fastfood chain for about 1 1/2 year now. I already passed my application for my wife and son last september 28,2011. So, I put my recent job in the application as a Head Supervisor and my details/info in the application. Also, I passed a Letter from Employer. But, right I like to change job because my boss is giving me hard time. Can i change job any day right now? I already find a new job but still wondering if i can change while my application is still on processing. Anyweiz, my application is still in Case Processing Center in Missisauga Ontario. And I am still waiting for their approval. Secondly, I'd like to go back from my country (Philippines) next March for my son's 2nd bday. Can i do that while my application is being processed? And I am praying that they can have their visa while im in the Philippines so that they come with me here in Canada when I go back here and start a new family together here in canada. Can you pls tell me how long will my application takes? Just give me some advice and tips. Thanks you so much for your help in advance!

yes u can change jobs and yes u can go for a visit, visits are no more than 1 mth max in duration
are u a PR or a Canadian citizen? reason why i ask citizen can stay out of the country longer while having a spousal application being processed whereas PR's are limited to visits

Interesting.. I didn't know about limitations on staying outside canada if you have sponsored someone. Do you know how long he can stay in either cases?Kedeisha said:

And why is it only 1 month for the vacation? What if I extended for 5days (just an example). Thanks in advance..

As a PR while sponsoring u cannot be out of Canada while an application is in process you are allowed visits, visits are normally up to 1 mth in duration so if the find out you are living outside of Canada they can and will deny your application well as long as they don't deem that you are living outside Canda so you have to be reasonable maybe 2 mths can be considered but 6 mths is not considered a visit it is considered living outside Canadanewdelhi2011 said:

oh i see. so, i can leave my employer by next week and apply for my friends new job. (more salary though) lol...and regarding your post to newdelhi regarding the vacation. Can i go for 2 months vacation in my country when i go back? Will they check it? I assure that I am going back here in Canada because I applied for them right. So that we will be together here in canada.
well you can go for as long as you want but if the agent processing your file feels you are living outside Canada they can refuse your application so I will say you are taking a chance but if it indeed a visit go and have fun and congrats on the new job

you dont have to call u can wait until Manilla gets ur info and update ur employment info then as for the vacation u dont need to advise them they can find out how long u are gone for but enjoy ur time with ur wife and son
well since u are like 2 weeks away from being approved the chances of them getting that and linking it to ur file is very slim so thats why i say should u wish u update ur employment info once u get ur client ID or since u are a PR use ur UCI and let them know
