Hi All,

I have applied for PR through express entry and I have provided my current employer verification letter, my application is still in processing and expected to complete by Feb 2020 but I got a new job offer with a different company and I am wondering if I can change employer while application is in processing. Can some one please advise as it is really important.

Thanks,
KSD

Don't think it matters either way, if you want to you can provide an update via cse.

I think as long as the job you are using to claim points was for the necessary period it should not be a problem. My AOR was Aug 2018 and I recently changed jobs in Aug this year. I raised a webform and sent through my new contract.

Thanks @Chipo21 , you mean to say that you applied for PR last August and still in processing ? can you also please tell me more about the web form.

If I simply stop working after AOR, do I need to inform IRCC through the web form as well? Do I need my employer to provide a new reference letter with an end date on it? Thanks!!!

Folks this is not an ideal situation. For any changes in your profile you ideally need to inform cic.

Having said that, if your points don't change with your job change, v then it might be simpler and harmless to not inform.

There is no harm either way, as suggested earlier, you can just raise case to update them about your job change
