I'm new to the forum, have been using it for months to answer all questions about the Express Entry System before applying (and you guys have been extremely useful), and I'm now in the process of creating my EE profile.
I have a question about the Employer Reference Letter that I hope you guys can shed some light on:
My past employer already got me a reference letter ready, and it contains all the info CIC requires, so that's all good.
The one thing that is making me paranoid is that the company got rebranded (it basically only changed its name) one month before I left, and in the reference letter it clearly says that I "worked for A-NAME company (rebranded on Sep 30 2016 as B-NAME) from 15 Oct 2015 to 31 October 2016.
Would that one month left that I worked there under new name pose any problem? As the letter says that I was still working for old company name. Again, the employer was the same, same address and contact details, he just didn't make me a new contract for that month left as he knew I was leaving, but paid me and everything. Also, he printed the letter out on NEW company name letterhead.
Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated.
