Change of address requires "remove consent" box??

I went online to update my mailing address in e-cas because my spouse and I are moving to a new apartment. I filled out the address boxes and I ignored the box that said I wish to eliminate my or anyone else's access to online status and so on. The page reloaded and said, "This form is incomplete. Please provide the necessary information below, then send your request again. You must select the check box to remove consent." Seriously? Has anyone else done this? When you fill out a change of address, you have to agree that you cannot access online status anymore???

Am I reading it wrong? Why would anyone say Yes to ending their access to online status information, and why is this linked to updating a mailing address?

I think I know why. Did you click on 'Submit'? because 'Submit' button is for the remove consent box. After updating the address, you should click on 'Continue' button just below the 'Submit' button.
