Change in Visa office

Hey everyone!

I have a bit of a problem...

So I sent in my application for the spousal sponsorship for my husband who is now in Egypt. So I expected my visa office to be Cairo...

but my applications were sent to Nairobi, Kenya. So I have to now contact them to transfer my files to Cairo, and I do not know how to go about it...

I sent them an email with all our information in it, requesting a change in Visa offices, but is there anything else required of me for this file transfer????????

Due to disruptions, the services of the Visa Section of the Embassy of Canada to Egypt may experience unusual delays. The Visa office capacity to respond to enquiries is limited at this time. This situation may affect processing times for temporary resident applications (for visitors, students and temporary workers).

It may be they transferred your file because of these "disruptions."

You can contact Nairobi directly and why your file was transferred. I have no idea if they respond or how long it takes for them to respond.
