Hello people!

My sister wants to come and study in Canada. She was here for 3 months to study english already. Right now she's on our home country.
The fact that both my husband and I are in Canada working would play against her case? Our parents are retired and live in our home country. What are her chances of getting a Study permit?

Her profile:
Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Travel - GPA 90%
Post Graduation Certificate in Management - GPA 93%
Post Graduation Certificate in Event Management - GPA 87.9%
IELTS - Band 7 (L 8, R 7, S 6, W 7)
Work experience - 4+ years working on Human Resources in the Hotel Industry

Program in Canada
Human Resources Management - Co-op
Ontario College Graduate Certificate
Seneca College
1 year

Thank you!

Cheers

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I would say that her profile is outstanding.
The only problem for her would be how to convince the visa officer that she will be going back to her home country especially that she already has a sister (you) who is settled and working in Canada.
The visa officer may reject her study permit for family ties in Canada as a reason, meaning that she will stay in Canada because she has family in Canada.

Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to try her luck.

Profile is superbb!
She also has travel history to Canada.
All these are good signs.

You just need to convince Visa Officer that she will go back to her home country as her parents are there in your home country, etc...
So just write a good Statement of Purpose and explain everything in it.

1. I think your sister will get visa if she shows sufficient funds with proof of legal source. It is better if she will show that she can cover all her expenses (including rental) without your help .
2. Her speaking score is low for HR. She needs to work on it.
3. She will get only 1-year PGWP. It is almost impossible to collect 1 year work experience for CEC. Her chances to immigrate through Ontario PNP are also very small for the same reason - PGWP is too short.
