Hello everyone
I'm an Asian student who graduated in France. My present and temporary residence is in France. Now I prepare to start another diploma in Canada and need a study permit.
Since the VISA processing time often takes a longtime (about 2 months) in my country of citizenship, which will delay my intake in September, I decide to apply for study permit at the Embassy of Canada in Paris. This process is of-course faster (about 2 weeks) but I'm still worried. Is there more risk of being refused if I apply for study permit from a foreign country, different from my country of citizenship?
Furthermore, in November 2015 I applied for a tourist visa B in order to attend my cousin's wedding in Toronto, unfortunately I failed. Does this refuse take any negative influence on my Study permit application now? These 2 times, the person who sponsors and helps me do the financial proofs is always my uncle. In order to improve my chance this time, I also add the financial statements of his wife and my parents. Will it work?
Many thanks in advance for your advice.
