Hi everyone,

It seems like every IRCC website says something different so I'm trying my luck here. I'm applying for PR under NON-EE OINP, and I know that we need translations.

I will use a certified Canadian translator and will get a certified translation, but I don't understand why I also need a certified copy (I also don't understand what it is in this case 1) the notary will create a copy of the original document and stamp it or 2) the notary will stamp the translations and says it's okay). I will be uploading the original documents as well plus the translations so I'm completely confused about what to do.. Has anyone successfully submitted the documents?

I know with some legal matters you can't get your head around. Maybe it to verify the authenticity of the legal doc translated. Also go ahead with the more the better.

Thank you very much for your response, but I'm not sure how it answers my question..

What I meant was that you can't understand legal matters they are very weird.
You asked why you need certified copy so I replied that it is meed to check the authenticity of the legal doc used.
I hope you get it this time and also I would suggest to attach as many docs as you have.
