Certification of diploma

Hello,
I need your help regarding certification of Germany diploma what is not in English or French. I contacted Germany Embassy in Canada but they can provide me with the certified copy without translation. They told me that they have no service to translate the diploma, and also can not certify the translated document, only the original one. What was your experience about that. Thanks in advance
