Hi,
I received a police certificate from Germany which is in Germany language. Do I have to certify its copy in in German Consulate in Canada or public notary in Cnada (I live in Canada) is also OK? Shold I also send the original document or only certified copy and translation?
Thanks

You need to send original document ,don't need to send any translations ...

I have different understanding. Immigration officer won't be able to make sense out of a document written in German. They "officially" understand only French/English. Niko will need to send:

Original PCC from Germany + Translated Notarized Copy of Original PCC in English/French + Affidavit from Translator.

@niko80

I know I am providing you contrasting information from @poisonapple and I could be wrong. Please wait for tie-breaker answer from another forum member :)

FYI, Translation from Canadian translator will work. Just reach out to any ATIO certified translator and tell them you need it for CIC and they will know what to do.
