If an applicant is "single", not married, never divorced. Does he need to submit a certificate of "Single" or "not marriage" when he/she applying e-APR in EE after ITA?
Thanks~

I know my country (the Philippines) does, called a certificate of no marriage. I guess it does depend per country or jurisdiction. This is sometimes requested by CIC to Filipinos applying for spousal sponsorship, but not in Express Entry.

I laughed out loud reading this. hehehe
Anyway for me the proof of burden is to prove that you are married or in a cohabitation relationship with someone - we were born single in the first place hehe.
I also see from some of my countries applicants mentioned that he/she went to the police station and take the not-marriage certificate and got notarized.
Then I see some screen capture shows that in EE ITA, "marriage certificate" is "Required", so I thought it may changed to "required, except single applicant" LOL

there is not such thing as "Certificate of being Single" ... it can be a curse/blessing though!
