No if you are not in Canada but are paying bills in Canada it doesn’t necessarily mean you are residing in Canada. When did you leave Canada?

In Feb. My employer told me he would be temporarily laying me off since business is suspended when I called him in march. I called the CERB help line and lady couldn't help me but did make a comment that it says residing in Canada not physically present. I have to call CRA helpline and wait times are crazy

February is extremely early to be laid off due to covid in Canada. If the pandemic was such a large issue why did you travel abroad?
