Not yet! I'm still waiting. I guess, I'll have some news in 2/3 days, at most. Anyways, I keep my fingers crossed regarding the speaking part. I just need to reach 4L to present my paperwork.

Hello !

few questions about english testings,
do I have to choose between CELPIP and IELTS or do I have to prepare both ?
do my boyfriend have to prepare it also ?

do you have some experience in these two testings ?

thank you for your reply !

maxmoore, what is ur result?

hey any one preparing CELPIP to give give exam by end of march. If so please tell me pls..i will join :)

^ Did you register already? Best of luck to you :) Just remember to pay attention to the time when you're in the speaking test. The rest is ok.

No, I'm still waiting for my results. Todays is the 7th business day, so it will become available tonight / tomorrow, at last. As soon as I know something, I will post my results.

Guys, I'm sooo disappointed!!! Check my results:

Language Skill

Listening 5H
Reading 3H
Writing 5H
Speaking 5L

Do you think I can apply for re-evaluation? I know it's a computer based score therefore the score is calculated instantaneously, but I can't believe I failed the reading part. Maybe I need only 1 question more? I always scored 5H in my tests in the reading part!!!

Note: I'm just wondering if I missed something (maybe 1 section?) because I can't find any explanation at all. I know I was disappointed after finishing the speaking part, so I took a bit of time during the reading part to calm down but I always score 5H (books + tests online). I guess, I won't apply for re-evaluation. It doesn't make sense. I'm so frustrated.

really bad maxmoore..sorry for that..

If it is system mistake you would have got at least 4L. I think it is your fault as you said you might have forgot 1 section to answer. Try to recollect your mind before you take decision.

I knew you were worrying more about your speaking but result is bad. but its OK apply in April so that you will taste new format :)

Nice job. Good luck

Thanks! It's too bad, but nothing can be changed now. I already booked a spot on March 29th. I prefer the old model over the new one because I'm familiar with it. I'll have to pay more attention when reading and put less pressure when speaking... and, definitively, I'm not going to study again for it.

^ I am sorry that you didn't make the required level for Reading. And I agree, move on and just take the exam again remembering what you think you have done wrong the first time. You can do it!

[size=10pt]Hi maxmoore, the same thing happened to me; I've also done the test on Feb 22!

My test center was at Konstoga; where was yours?

I've sent an email for them wondering if I can re-test the reading part only. I'm still waiting for their reply.

Mine was on Queen's Collegiate (Toronto).

Sorry to say this, but you aren't allowed to re-take only one part. Unfortunately, you'll have to sit and write the test once again. I got the physical copy of my results today, and... it went straight to the garbage :)

Looking forward to taking the test once again at the end of this month.

[size=10pt][size=10pt]Yes, I think I should do the test again.

About the test center, I was told that Toronto is better (the markers are easier) than Kitchener. Do you agree with that?

I don't think so. It's the same everywhere. I believe the tests are submitted to a central location and many people (probably working from home) read what you have written and listen what you have spoken and make a decision. As simple as is.

maxmoore, have you done with your second attempt?
