Hi experts,
I will soon apply for permanent residency through Canada Experience Class.
I am located in Calgary and plan to use web application developer (NOC2175) for my work experience. After some calculations, I found my hourly wage to be $20.1925, slightly below the range of $21.63~$50.63 as shown on https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/wagereport/occupation/17892
I have proof and examples to prove that I have performed all duties for NOC2175 and some duties for NOC2174 as well.
I know there is no written requirement for salary for CEC. But I also know that a wage significantly below the range for the applicant's region can create red flags because the IRCC officer will doubt whether the applicant has actually performed those duties.
First question: is https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/wagereport/occupation/17892 the source that IRCC officers use for wage comparison or I'm looking at the wrong source?
Second question: Will my salary that's slightly below the lower bound of the range of $21.63~$50.63 lead to rejection?
Thanks in advance!
