VO Edmonton sucks Its too slow.

I don't think our applications are not touched at all. Majority of Sept applicants are done with eligibility, medicals

I also feel; otherwise, it must be terrible luck.
By now, if Sep applications have not completed 1-2 rounds of review, then nothing can be worse than that.
As I understand, they do an initial screening within one month, then detailed reviews by 2-3 different officers for each category. This is how it should be designed ideally. However, I have not researched how these reviews are happening.

Its more like 4 months 10 days ,right? Still a lot of time.

A question though, is Edmonton your VO from the beginning or did you get an ADR or PCC or RCMP request and they put you there?

Eligibility : Passed
Medical: Passed
Security/Criminality: Not started
Office: CPC Ottawa

Did you get some ADR? Some extra document request? I think I am in Edmonton in container FS04049. This one is for those applications that got RCMP request.

Hey Guys... My application was getting processed from CPC Ottawa till the last few weeks and now it's CPC Edmonton after requesting new medicals and Schedule A form. I am thinking now it mostly will get delayed as it's stuck in a dark hole where they do not update for ages.
No updates after submitting the schedule A and medicals sheet.

Hey, don't worry, wait until the 180th day. It is not very far for many of us. I still hope they will not miss this timeline. BTW that's the worst-case scenario, I am sure we will be getting good news soon, much sooner than that. Especially for you, now it can be anytime, at least additional information that was stopping them is shared and logically they do not have any other query.

I wish I had a better news for you. But I consider Edmonton as DEADmonton. VOs there move a cm in a million years.

My Own personal hell is this container called FS04049 in Edmonton VO. It is for those who had to submit RCMP certificate. I got no update, no email or message requesting anything.
Background check still not started after 4 months 7+days. I have lost all hopes of being one of those lucky ones that get their COPR in 4 months.

My file has moved to CPC Edmonton as well . Till last week it was Sydney NOva Scotia . Why do I feel all our files are moving there !!
I would request all previous Sydney VO folks to check with an ircc agent and check if their VO office has also been reassigned .

Yes, my file also moved to Edmonton from Sydney - I just called them today. No idea what is happening?!!
