Document Request: Nov 4 (Original CELPIP Result. Not sure why they even need this when I already provided the version downloaded from CELPIP website. Ordered one by mail, scanned and uploaded on Nov 10. The successful receipt confirmation e-mail did not came in until Jan 11!!)

Probably the slowest case in this thread.

There are so many applicants before your AOR date. You at least have something (in form of ADR). Mine AOR is 18th September and totally silence after MEP & BIL updated on 28th October 21.

I actually think the ADR caused more delay in my application, otherwise I can't think of another reason why I only got my MEP almost 4 months after AOR..I didn't even get an eligibility pass or a biometrics request. I hope you(and everybody in this thread) get good news soon.

Applied in October 2021 and recieved for passport submission near to Nov end

Just confirmed with an agent, my file has been transferred to Edmonton. Seems like applications from VO Ottawa are going to VO Edmonton.

On my GCMS notes, it says Primary office: Centralized Intake Office, Secondary office: CPC-Ottawa. Does that mean VO is Ottawa?

Same AOR, eligibility passed when I called them

Did you call IRCC about status before you got approved? What did they say about background?

The day we got our eCOPRs the MyCIC status fields had been updated for eligbility, background check and final decision. The background check field value reads: "$date: your background check was completed." With $date being a date a couple of weeks ago.

We had called IRCC a couple of weeks ago, but they hadn't given us any specific information apart from "your application is being processed".

No, that hadn't happened at all.

It had been on "Background in processing" during the whole application process. It only changed to "your background check was completed." the day we got our eCOPRs.

Nothing silly about that question.

MyCIC had been updated the day we got our eCOPRs. PR application approved. Eligibility had been approved on the same day. Fun fact: apparently, our background checks had been completed weeks ago.

This is the reason I say there is no defined and consistent process. Nobody knows what the various stages are and how these comments are getting written by any agent


I have been observing many cases for the last two months, and I am confident there is nothing like stage clearance or milestones. The ones who get it in a consistent manner are lucky, but who do not receive any update or have no clarity about their stage clearances are also getting eCOPR without any update.
The majority of the applications have inconsistent updates.

People who are not getting updates or have not received any updates should not feel bad. Very soon, you will be getting that lucky/final email.

And as I was suspecting, it seems true for many pending cases. Most of these cases are pending from the same place.

I have not called them so far as I feel nothing will change even if I get any update about my application.
They are not going to improve the processing time. It is all LUCK, nothing else.
