Okay so go to resizepixel.com its the first search with comes up on google. Choose length 4200 pixels and width 3000 pixels. Keep fixed ratio on. If fixed ratio messes the numbers, Uncheck it and put 4200 x 3000. And youll be good. Okay ill do the chin part. Either all of us get rejected or we all party !! The devs for this website are high on something
Thanks , I have dropped an email to IRCC, will let you know if they respond.

thank you for the info.
have you received your eCOPR yet ?? And if not, will we be only receiving it after getting our photo approved or we will get it before the approval of photo ??

Just got my eCoPR today - an hour ago!
My photo still shows as "in review". I'm pretty sure that one can get their eCoPR without the photo being approved...but I may be wrong here. Also, folks have received cards while it still states "in review" online....

Hi all!

We haven't received any notification (email, message in CIC profile etc.) indicating that we've passed the R10 Completion Check.
  1. Is this normal?
  2. What do you recommend we should do?
  3. Should we order our GCMS notes?

Please find our timeline below:
  • AOR: Sep 5, 2021
  • UCIs updated: Oct 11, 2021
  • Biometrics updated (reused from TR applications): Oct 11, 2021
  • GU: Nov 5, 2021
  • MEP: Nov 23, 2021 (received no email notification; medical exams took place after AOR)

Background Check has been unchanged since AOR: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Almost similar timelines, no updates after 28 Oct. Seems nobody is working on it. Background Check was "We are processing your background check" then it changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check"

Not sure what does it mean, there were many explanations given of different stages but I guess every case is different and the status is changed based on the IRCC agent's remarks and that differs from agent to agent.

People get confirmation emails without seeing any change in their status also. So there is no defined sequence.

I can understand your situation since I am also in the same boat. Sometimes it feels like nobody is looking at my application :) and it is on hold.

Do not worry, there are many like us, just wait and hope for the best.

Homie, you just had your profile updated on the 23rd, that was 5 days ago, that's a pretty good indicator that your application is being reviewed/processed. Also, I don't think there's a R10 event.

While I understand it's little comfort, I've seen quite a few people who received their portal invitations without receiving any updates to their profiles. If you look in the August thread there are a LOT of people who are still waiting for approval and anecdotally not everyone appears to be getting updates at all. My profile hasn't been updated since Oct 27th when I submitted my biometrics.

Yes, in my case this is the same. I don't know if my medicals are passed or not but assuming it is.

Yes, it's better to do that. I already took that 50 mm x 70 mm picture some 6 months back and thus it didn't/doesn't create an issue doing that - in fact the size/dimension contrast makes it much better than existing picture I have. How did you get over the brightness (too dark or too bright) issue? My picture is a lot bright but I still tried both - reducing or increasing the brightness but still getting the error
I had to go back a get a new picture, it gave the error even when I changed brightness at first. So I had to take it again and it resolved the issue.

My brain is fried too, stretched a 12 hours shift and have been working on changing the pixel resolution and brightness for the last 5-6 hours. Got around the resolution but nothing is working on the brightness.
Sorry to hear that :( too much energy wasted on something so trivial like uploading a photo. The brightness issue will only fix with retaking the photograph. Altering brightness wont help it.

Where did you take it from? Staples, Walmart or any local shop?

Are they aware of the PR Card's photo requirement? Did you give them any instruction - regarding the brightness? (Sorry for getting spoon-feed here) Thanks a lot btw, much appreciated. Didn't take any picture from Staples, so not sure how they work.

Got the login credential yesterday, and submitted photos one hour later. Received eCoPR today - a day later.

No worries! They have the instructions and a template for pr pictures. When I took pic from them, i had no brightness issues. Only london drugs did and i re took the photo and error went away. So let them take it normally, and it should work. They have picture guarantee so if brightness error shows up again, you can take mulitple photos
