There are few stages of BCG.

IP1 and IP2.

The message for IP2 is processing
For IP1 is progress.

Since 2019 or so, inland folks have been getting IP2 message in the beginning. So people here dubbed it as false IP2. This goes to True IP1 then to True IP2 and finally PPR.

Yeah... True... Seems to be a long wait now for sure. Let's see how long that takes. Thanks.

Hahahaha.... Mine was first at 1 PM EST for UCI/Medical update (email came 2nd day) and 2nd was yesterday when the site was down. I saw that in the evening though after login.

Around 8 or 9pm. I didn't receive any email from them about the GU updates last night. Saw GU this morning also and my BGC changed to..."Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

Question: If your MEP "You do not need a medical exam." means already passed? it should be submitted right?

"You do not need a medical exam" is the default message. Don't read too much into it. They will ask you if they need. Most likely not.

For the old medicals mostly it's passed if it passed once and then 2nd time gets to final passed. For new medicals, it should be just passed once and stay the same status.

My friend you have just cleared completeness check. Eligibility review will not change until you receive COPr. But that does not mean you have not cleared eligibility. The status just does not change on our portal. Secondly to know more roll your dice and phone IRCC don't ask the number just google it. Lastly, to get accurate details order GCMS, Google everything my friend.

PRTD is a Permanent Resident Travel Document. It's basically a one-time PR card replacement that you can apply for outside of Canada if you do not have a valid PR card.

Thanks for your response. So, if we have valid visa to enter Canada do you think we still need to apply for PRTD?

I checked my profile and it said I have an update (I didn’t get an email). I’m assuming this is a ghost update cause nothing changed, does anyone know what this means? I did my biometrics like 1.5 weeks ago.

Okay, got my and wife's UCI and my bio updated via GU. My son has been removed (he is canadian citizen). No BIL for my wife till now. No MEP. AoR 26th Sept 2021.

Did you and your dependents got biometrics update in same GU?
ie did you and all of your dependents have biometrics given earlier? or did they send you Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) with your first GU? or with your next GU?

Hey man, do you have any dependents or you yourself who need to provide biometrics?
Did you get BIL? and when?
