• No ghost update, since PA got an email
• Change 1: Application Status ("We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.")
• Change 2: UCIs changed from CAN-XXX to the UCIs we got as temporary residents
• Change 3: Biometrics updated (we had submitted our biometrics in the past as part of our temporary resident applications)

Background Check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Question 1:
Is it correct to assume that IRCC has

1. accepted that we couldn't get the medicals yet
2. put our application on hold until the medical results have been submitted?

Question 2:
Or is there a chance that our documents will still be processed in the meantime, e. g. eligibility check?

When you got BIL, was the email any different.

BTW BIL is bionetric instruction letter to submit fingerprints. Did you get that to go to service canada to give finger prints?

I got Biometric letter On Oct,28 and went Service Canada to gave fingerprints on Oct 29 and , and updated on CIC account in same day

Did IRCC send you a specific email for Biometric letter OR was it just an email with title "We updated your application status" and later you found the letter in the account.
