IRCC takes a too long time to process CEC inland files. Is there any way we can expedite the process?

Status update July 21st - medicals pass date removed, replaced with "you do not need medical exam"
July 28th - received an email asking to provide names, uci, entry dates (original and most recent) for all family members
Waiting for them to send portal email registration info - hope it won't take them another 11 months to do so

Finally in my file has some movements.. IRCC asked address confirmation. updated today.

It now says:
Review of medical results - July 27, 2022:You passed the medical exam.
They did not ask me to do another exam and the one I submitted is still less than a year old
can you provide more context from MP’s communication? Also, is your timeline up-to-date in your signature?
Yes, my timeline is updated.
Communication with my MP has been basically me just complaining and asking them to help expedite the process but so far nothing.
They say they are limited to only asking for updates (which they get pretty quick compared to me calling IRCC over the phone directly), but their hands are tied because the estimated processing time keeps getting pushed further and if my file hasn't exceeded the processing time, they can't do anything about it.
Last week my MP's office said they would ask again for an update, and today they replied saying that the only update they received today (since last update on June 29th) is that sometime between the last update and today, my case file had been assigned to an officer. That was all.
