They didn’t give you an extension yet. You submitted your application, and your AOR letter says that IRCC will make a decision in 4 months(July to November); in the meantime, you’re in implied status. Most likely in Nov, you will have your application approved and your work permit extended.

They changed the rules in Oct 2020. Well i found the answer to my own question
The letter has a 120-day validity from the date of receipt
In cases where the 120 days have passed and no decision has been rendered, the applicant may request continued proof of authorization to work using the IRCC Web form.

Hi folks. I received the portal email today after almost half a year silence. Finally I graduated. You are almost there as well. Fingers crossed.
Any news yet? My medicals (me+family) also expired today, as expected because the validity on GCMS notes was until today.
