Just received a ghost update today, medical changed to "you do not need a medical exam", aor oct 05
I don’t know how the PGWP works, but if you’re a PA and your spouse is a Dep., you apply for the permit you’re eligible for (BOWP, e.g.) and you will apply for an open work permit for your spouse with your application. You’ll need to tick the option « spouse of the PA » on the application form for your spouse. Don’t forget to attach the family representative form signed by your spouse. My PR is in process for a year now with Oct 6 as aor. My pgwp is expiring in December and I’m eligible for extension however I also have a dependent spouse working full time. Assuming that I receive pgwp extension before pgwp expiry, can my spouse continue working after applying for her extension of SOWP under implied status?
Or am I better off with applying BOWP for both at the same time to avoid hassles of applying for SOWP for spouse separately?
Congrats!Just got the confirmation email.
