This process is brutal. My BOWP only goes until November but with PR cards now taking 3-5 months sources reporting as such long delays. So if I don't have PR by June then once again I will be stuck in Canada with no immigration document to get back in if I leave the country. CIC really needs to come up with a temporary PR card solution that is given at landing valid for 6 months its really not that difficult. But I've seen that some people in July AOR still have not received PR. I just want a decision so I can stop living my life in limbo.

If photos are as per spec, PR card is taking 30-46 days on average now to arrive.

Hi guys,

The completion time has elapsed, and my spouse and I have not received any update :(

Is anyone else with AOR in September still waiting for a response?

There have been no changes since I sent the additional documents (RCMP x spouse). I called IRCC a month ago, and I was told exactly the same information I can see on the website that my application is still in process. I asked her if Police certificates from Mexico were received and she said yes. I think we are one of those "lucky ones" whose application take longer. Last Friday (March 29), I sent a request (through the web form) asking for the status of my PR application. Send me all your good vibes!

This is my timeline and current status:

AOR - Sep 29, 2018
Meds passed - Oct 26, 2018
Additional docs req - Oct 26, 2018
Additional docs provided - Nov 9, 2018
No ghost updates

You are the same status as me exactly. I am September 5th AOR.

What does your MyCIC say just curious?
My account is with my agent, but I think there is no change in it as from the automated voice system I learned my status says "Processing background check blah blah blah". But the IRCC call center agent confirmed that its approved and I should be receiving landing interview request.

Congratulation on Approval! Stay tuned for the golden email. :-)

Hi Guys,

I received my landing interview for March 16 however I was on vacation and was unable to attend I did follow the instructions and send an email to Etobicoke-CIC-APR@cic.gc.ca about rescheduling I also filled out the web form. How long did it take to get a new interview date?

Hey by how many days can you ask them to reschedule, like can you ask a month ? Also any documents do you need to submit for the reschedule ?

Hello there!

I've received GCMS Note a few days ago and found this note.

Eligibility Review Required;

"The duties listed in the letter(s) of reference DID NOT appear to be consistent with the actions in the lead statement under the NOC code selected. The letter(s) of reference DID NOT appear to be consistent with a substantial number of the main duties under the NOC code selected. The letter(s) of reference appear to demonstrate that the PA DID NOT accumulate 12 months of work experience."

Honestly, my reference letters include all the context in the lead statement and main duties under the NOC code that I selected. But I don't know why the officers couldn't see them. Of course, I worked more than 1 year before submitted EE application. I had two different workplaces so I had to submit two sets of reference letter and pay stubs to prove my work records.

Should I make a LOE about reference letters and all the description and upload via Web Form? Any ideas would be so appreciated.

Thanks! :)

My notes had the exact same thing...by the time I called to clarify I had been approved. I would suggest calling.

Congrats! I will be so happy if it happens to me as well!! I should call them soon. I am just afraid of waiting time as a full time worker, I am only allowed a chunk of time when my lunch break...but will try this week. Thanks :)

I wouldn't worry if they needed more information they would let you know for sure. I noticed on my notes certain things they said they could not verify and it didn't even seem like they tried...for example I worked for an international company and the person working on my account stated that there was no company website and there is!

Usually, around 11pm-12pm is the best time to call.

How long it took you from approval to interview request/ppr ?
