Thank you for a lot of information shared on this forum and it really helps keeping nerves I have been a silent observer till now. Here is my case -
CEC inland
AOR - Sept 27th, 2018
Med Passed - Oct 25th, 2018
RPRF request and Payment - Jan 24th, 2019

Its been more than 6 and half months but still in stage IP2. No significant updates provided through web form inquiry. Just a standard reply indicating application is in progress. GCMS notes ordered on April 2nd, 2019 will take sometime to come.

Question - Every time I call CIC call center and I get surprisingly different answers about VO. First time got answer letting me know that application is being processed in Nova Scotia, after a week called and got answer that VO is Ottawa and no update on stage of application (Security not started, eligibility is in progress). I am worried with the progress since hardly anything is changed on the file since past couple of weeks although its been so much time since application is processing. Is there any other channel apart from GCMS notes which can provide us authentic updates?

Hey guys,

First time posting in here but I have been viewing the forum for some time now.

Inland CEC - AOR Sep 8th.

I called CIC today for an update as I just hit the 6-month mark. The gentlemen informed me that they are experiencing delays in processing across the board, on all applications and it could take up to 11 months.

I was also informed to call back in 10 days if I haven't received an update and they will send a message to the processing center in charge of my application (Ottawa) in an effort to try to push it along.

They mentioned they are working on my background and security and to my surprise, still on my eligibility, so I imagine this will take a while longer as they haven't got that far as of yet.

No updates since I passed medicals back in Oct 2018.

Same here...My AOR was Sep 8th and hasn't been updated since last Oct. GCMS Note says Eligibility RR / Background check under processing / Security is not started yet. I ordered second GCMS Note 2 weeks ago to see if there are any movements.

I got this response from IRCC on what is going on with my application. Currently @ 6 months 3 days now since AOR.

Criminality taking forever. Is this normal?

Criminality: In progress
Security: Not Started

Already ordered 3 ATIP (GCMS notes): since 2nd month my application is stuck on Criminality check. A lot of workload distribution between these 2 visa offices. My last notes is from a few days before the 6 months expected time. I called them beggning of April.2019 and the update was the same. At this moment, my process has 220 days. I applied 1 year before my permit expiration day, and now I had to apply for BOWP since I have no clue when I will receive the PPR. will call them again. Its unfair that I need to apply for a BOWP to maybe use it only for a few days, since I applied much earlier than the expiring day.

[Edit] I just called them, the agent explained to me the application is still on same status, no updates. Incredible! This is pretty upsetting.

The completion time has elapsed, and my spouse and I have not received any update

Is anyone else with AOR in September still waiting for a response?

There have been no changes since I sent the additional documents (RCMP x spouse). I called IRCC a month ago, and I was told exactly the same information I can see on the website that my application is still in process. I asked her if Police certificates from Mexico were received and she said yes. I think we are one of those "lucky ones" whose application take longer. Last Friday (March 29), I sent a request (through the web form) asking for the status of my PR application. Send me all your good vibes!

Maybe your file was moved, that would be great!

I ordered my second set of GCMS notes 3 weeks ago, I haven’t received the notes yet. My profile has not changed, it only says: docs you provided have been uploaded.

It seems it is going to be a long wait...

Mine is very similar to yours despite the ADR request. I haven't receive any requests yet and I am AOR 17th of September. =/ 226 days now! No updates on criminality. Its being processed since 2nd month.

Yesterday night I noticed a ghost update on my cic profile "application/ profile updated" but nothing has changed. Hoping for the best (ppr) but it could be also that criminality has finally moved on which would also be good news. Lets stays positive!

Did you get your notes and do they show Review Required for Eligibility? Files are moved to different offices for workload redistribution

Eligibility shows Recommended Pass. No review required. Im calling cic now to get an update on the ghost update i received yesterday
