Even I am Sep 11 AOR. No updates on my account. Not even a ghost update. My eligibility is under review and background check under progress. VO is Ottawa CPC. Going really nervous and impatient. Anyone having both eligibility under review and background check under progress?

Sep 20 AOR, I saw ghost update and called them and was informed that my criminality has passed and eligibility is still under review Anyone has idea about eligibility review timelines ?.
But online status did not change at all :-

Eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
Background: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information

My online status didn't change even after I have received my PPR. It's the same that you have. Don't worry about the account.

I got ITA today, so have some questions for the senior members of this forum.

1. Do I need to submit the medical with my PR application or they will ask for it later?

2. The copies of my Education Certificates has to be Notarized or not?

3. And they also ask if I'll pay some Right of permanent residence fee, should I pay it with my application?

4. And lastly, how much time they will take to give AOR after I submit PR application. Cuz my permit is expiring soon, so I was thinking about OBWP(Open Bridge Work Permit) as an option.

I'd really appreciate your time and all your replies would be really helpful for me.

1. Get it done and the doctor will give you sheet to be uploaded along with your submission. It is always good idea to get it done asap as some clinics take time to send results and further CIC takes some time to review it.

2. They should not be copies. They must be original. Hopefully you are submitting your application online and they need to be colored scans of original

3. Totally upto you, but if you pay it upfront it makes things a little smooth and you eventually have to pay it sooo....

4. I got mine instantly so not sure about this one and I don't know much about your situation

Hi I'm dialing 1-888-242-2100 for IRCC call center, they always seem to be busy and not connecting to an agent. whats the ideal time of the day to call ?

I see one CEC Inland AOR Sept 09 got a landing interview email instead of ppr yesterday. Dec might be a good month for all of us, let's keep our fingers crossed.

I called up IRCC call center to find out about my application status but the agent said they could only see what I could see on my gckey portal. Now I'm wondering how some people on this forum got additional details of their file such as their current stage of application or visa office where their file is being processed etc.

Yes correct. You will get passport request the same day. yours will be in Canada and your family passport submission in India.

Is your category CIC? when did you receive your AOR and MEP?

Yes, CEC, AOR 5th sept and MEP around 26th Sept. What about yours?

I don't know about specific time but sometimes you just get through, I tried throughout day and still had to wait like 30+ minutes

I call around 11am on a Thursday, it seems to be less busy. I've always managed to get into the queue around this time Use 3-4-1-0 to skip all the automatic prompts

I usually call early morning around 8:30AM, like I did today. I was in queue in my first attempt with just a 17 minutes wait time
