Sorry my bad, completely misread things in the way I understood CEC. I am myself CEC and have one year of experience. Yes as long as you have that one year period which falls in the last 3 years, you will get the points for that experience with CEC.

Don't be sorry, as long as we discuss and help each other understand well about the EE and Canada immigration, we are good and that's what we are here for.

Even if they let me claim points for 'only 1 year of work experience' out of '2+ years of experience I have', I will have 434 points. Since I have got an ITA in the last draw when cut-off point was 415, I think I will be fine. Right?

Yes, you should be fine. :)

Okay, now I know why this was becoming confusing. The eligibility is for the applicant to have 12 months of experience in the last three years. You should then get full points for your Canadian work experience.

I don't see anything wrong with his eligibility as he had Canada work experience and this is the reason CIC invited him under CEC stream. In addition to that the experience will be decided by system based on your inputs( work experience dates).

I'm pretty much sure that his case won't have any further complications and in fact straight forward case.

Thank You so much everyone.

I believe now we have established the understanding that.

For CEC applicants

Eligibility requirement
Minimum of 1 year of skilled work experience in past 3 years in Canada.

Additional Information for CEC applicants - For inland and outland both
1. Applicants can claim points in Express Entry for any skilled work experience acquired in past 10 years. (foreign and Canadian both)
2. Do NOT need to meet criteria for Funds and do not need to provide POF when submitting eAPR after getting an ITA in Express Entry.

-----------------------
Now, I would like your input/advice/suggestions on the matter below.

Sorry for late reply.

1) Correct (in some cases people get CEC and FSW both)
2) Foe CEC regardless of inland or outland: If you show $0 while submitting profile, you will not get any place holder for POF. If you show some amount before ITA, you will have place holder for POF. If you do then you need to attach LOE explaining your invitation in CEC. I came to know after declining one ITA and getting new ITA.

Don't be sorry, you are not late. It's always a good thing that people (who are applying under CEC inland/out-land OR who have already got their PR in that category) post their experience/advice because lots of people here on this forum thinks CEC-outland applicants need to meed the requirement of funds.

I have declined my previous ITA and after getting a new one, I have been trying to show funds (through gift-deed) for my PR application.

I have moved back to India from Canada since November 2015. Even though I have come across many posts saying that CEC applicants don't need to show POF, I was thinking (till now) that I am required to show POF since I am outside Canada now and do not have a job offer.

So once and for all, I would like to ask you (to make sure) that Does CEC applicant, who lives outside Canada, and who does NOT have a job offer in Canada required to show POF?

The reason I am asking is that, because I don't want my application to get rejected if I show no funds. Has any CEC outland applicant landed successfully without showing any funds?

Hi
i am in similar situation, i was working in canada while my PNP ontario was under process in 2016, the PNP process took so long that my work permit expired and i had to move to USA as i did not even receive an ITA or PNP. My work place kept my Job for 6months after i left the country during which time i got my ITA and applied for my PR application. While my PR was under processing my work place told me that they no longer can hold my position so they sent me a letter of termination.
So my question is do i need to have a job offer on hand and POF when landing?
