Will there be an email from CPC-Ottawa once the visa is stamped and dispatched ? How will we track the envelope with visa stamped-passport ?

So just an update, my ecas has been showing 'Decision Made' for two days, however no email as yet. So I called CIC today and asked an agent to tell me what the decision was. Very patient and helpful guy, he advised it was APPROVED!! ;D

He told me it was approved from June 2nd and that a batch of emails were sent. I told him I haven't received anything to inbox or junk folder, and I was advised to call back 5 business from June 2nd if I don't receive anything by then. I'm not from a passport-exempt country, so I'll be calling back later this week so they can reissue that passport request letter.

I got it in 2 days...it depends...

Was the photo specs same or different? Did they ask for any additional doc other than ppr and 2 photos?

I don't think they send email about visa stamping, no.
Track the return xpresspost envelope you sent with your passport. That's the only way.
when it is activated you know your passport is stamped and coming back.

Really ? When was your passport received by CIC ? June 4 or June 6 ?

Guys, I just got off the phone with CIC as I was trying to get them to tell me what decision had been made on my file, since it now says 'Decision Made' and I'm from a visa exempt country.

The lady on the phone looked at my file and told me it said that NO final decision had been made and that no correspondence had been sent out. I'm really confused! ???

photo specification is different..70 X 50...you need to print the request for visa letter and attach it.

it should not take much time..i am in canada and my family is in India, i have sent an email to CIC asking for the another email to submit the document in India, with in 2 days, i got the reply back..it should come any time...

Are you serious? Return tracker activated? I learned that it may take up to 3 weeks. You are so LUCKY!!
