Question to the October applicants who got RPRF request(not upfront RPRF) from CIC :
How long did it take for you guys to get Ready for Visa Email after RPRF request ?
Today,It's been 2 weeks for me. Last week agent told me that my file was sent for final approval on April 26.

I was under impression it was taking max 2 weeks after RPRF until now (for atleast my friends who were September and October applicants).

It has been more than 1 month waiting after RPRF for me...

Hi All,

Finally received the stamped passport and COPR yesterday. Looking forward to land something later this week.

Here are my timelines:
Application date: 14-Oct-2014
AOR date: 13-Feb-2015
MR date: 19-Mar-2016
Medicals Done: 22-Mar-2016
RPRF Paid (Upfront): 22-Mar-2016
Ready For Visa/PPR: 25-Apr-2016
Passports Received at CIC office: 27-Apr-2016
Passports Returned along with CoPR: 10-May-2016

Just cannot understand how people who dont need to submit their passport for stamping are waiting longer than applicants after them who do need stamping. I have done everything since end of March and all I need is COPR and nothing yet

Does Canada Post update the delivery status online? I have submitted my passport to Ottawa and the Xpresspost status is stuck at "Out for delivery" for three days already. Anyone else have the same situation?

I sent my RCMP APril 10 delivered second day and still shows out of delivery
You should have asked for signature

I called canada post complaining that they lost my papers the lady said no it was delivered to the mail room in the CIC building
It is a room that they go drop the thousands of mail every day
Canada post does not update the online status themselves they wait for CIC to confirm the receipt of the letter
It has been a month since i sent my RCMP still out for delivery so imagine the backlog and how many thousands of letters they are receiving for them to take more than 1 month to reach my mail...

I don't understand why does it take 1 week for some, 2 week for some and more than one month for others just to get final approval after everything has been passed on the file.

or is it that our officer is gone on holidays or no one has picked our files yet for final decision making ....
that's a mystery too.

I wish it ends soon in this month , God help us.

When I called last week the agent told me Verification and Eligibility has been passed and file is waiting for Final approval and will hear from them within a week and a half or before May 20th. No updates or E-mails yet though. :-X
