Hi guys, I have a few questions.

1. Does RPRF means eligibility has been passed? I had a ordered GCMS notes and noticed that the VO had doubts that my NOC doesn't match my job duties. VO stated that my duties were consistent with the noc of a nutritionist. This couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway they requested t4 and NOA, which I submitted. 2 weeks ago I received request for RPRF. Does this mean my file was found eligible under the NOC which I applied under?

2. Are security and background check the same thing? On my notes from April 20 it stated that security has not been started. The call center agent told me today that my background check appears complete and I can expect a decision anywhere between now and August.

3. How long does it take to complete security checks on Average?

Hi Guys,

- I have done my medicals on March 24th and my family did it on 1st APril, website says medical test results received,
- RPRF Paid on March 22nd.

Still waiting for the PPT, is it a good idea to apply for a GCMS now, call center agent told me that medical test results remarks only against my name..couple of weeks back, call center agent told, medical is approved, i am so worried and confused, can any experts give me an advise. I am Oct 14th 2014 applicant.

Tried again logging in with my RPRF receipt but still not able to login on ecast. I applied under CEC category from Canada but now I am at my home country which is not a visa exempt country. Will I get the ppr to be stamped at local visa office because I did my MR at my home country or I have to request separately after approval. Any help..

Got PPR Finally this morning. Thank you all for support. Wish u guys good luck.

How does the RPRF receipt looks like, does it change recently...my payment is not reflecting in my file...again they sent the request for payment, i have already paid on Mar 22nd and send the receipt to CPCO email id, again yesterday i have forwarded to CPC ottowa..is there any issues..called the call center agent and enquired about this, she asked me to wait and respond to the email with the receipt...any one suggest...i got the 2nd email from CIC yesterday on the RPRF.
