Since they acknowledged receipt of those documents I haven't heard from them again. I spoke to a call centre agent and she told me that my eligibility is still under review. At this stage??? I am a Sept 29, 2014 applicant. Can anyone explain how T4 and NOA help to prove eligibility?

Just wondering how long will it take to schedule an inland landing. My friend told me it will take 7 weeks, is this true? I am in Halifax too.
It depends on the agent who picks up your call, few are nice and will check for you, most of them won't. I kept calling until I got one that didSAK1979 said:To guys who were able to check with the CIC call center agents the status of their application - can you tell me how you went about it?
I have managed to get through twice (after trying 20 times) and each time the very first question that I get asked is - when did I apply? As soon as I say Oct 2014, I get the standard response, it is within the 19 month processing period, we cannot verify the status and all that..
I am not sure how you managed to get past that..
I personally think that there is no point to talk to call center agents. they clearly tells you when dial in ,,,the call center agent does not have access to your file and can't speed up the process. I have no idea on what basis they give you update about your file.psab2014 said:It depends on the agent who picks up your call, few are nice and will check for you, most of them won't. I agree. Getting info from call centre agent is useless. No matter what they say, take it with grain of salt. Though I 'm done with 19 months as indicated on the web, when called I was asked to call back 3 months after I get my MR (which I got on Mar/28). So according them, I have to call them after June/28. Issue is, by this time my application should have been done - they dont answer that.msingh199 said:I personally think that there is no point to talk to call center agents. they clearly tells you when dial in ,,,the call center agent does not have access to your file and can't speed up the process. Also a visa officer is the one who can take decision and has access to your file.
There is no way to call and find the truth.
