Hello guys,

I have couple of questions please, I am waiting for PPR but it doesn't look like it is coming any soon my PGWP expires in June :'(

Question 1: If you go on Implied status do you lose your driving license and OHIP ?
Question 2: How do you apply for BOWP?

I'm pretty sure you don't lose your license. but OHIP might be lost, since they only issue it with an expiration date that matches the expiry date of your work permit

in Ontario you are entitled to retain your OHIP. Not sure about the other provinces. If you are in Ontario, let me know and I will give you the information that I used.

It was a wonderful journey interacting with you all over the past 1.5+yrs. Am sure without this forum, however motivated we are, things would not have worked the way it is.

I wanted to say my humble thanks to each one of you who have been helping me, other forum members, sharing information etc.

I would like to let you know that i completed my inland landing in Halifax last week and it was more of a formality rather than any Q&A section. The officer was very polite and whole process took us 20 mins.

I wish each one of you all the very best and who have been waiting all these days, please be informed that your days are not so far.

I just found Decision Made on ECAS Online, early this morning.


My time line is:

Received application on October 9, 2014.
AOR on February 12, 2015.
Upfront Med, RPRF on Mar 28, 2016.
No any additional documents requested.
Decision Made on ECAS on Apr.25.2016

But I'm not sure if my application is passed or not. I hope that everything is fine.

Just wondering how long will it take to schedule an inland landing. My friend told me it will take 7 weeks, is this true? I am in Halifax too.

hi Friends,
pl find my details:

1.Application sent: Oct 14 th 2014
2. AOR Feb 17th
3. They have asked for my UK & Canadian RCMP, which i have provided,
4. Medical request Received 17th April
5. PR Fees 22nd Apr
6. Medical test results received

I have done the medicals in Canada on Mar 24th and my dependants done in India on April 1st, does it mean all of ours results have been received by CIC, when i will get an next update..please friends, please help me with an answer.

Does it mean that CIC has approved our Medical results.
